3 Top Habits of Vibrantly Healthy, Happy People

  1. Make Vibrant habits your highest priority and develop the mindset that makes the difference.   “Vibrant health means:  High energy,  relaxed focus, wellbeing, happy feelings, strong, flexible & cardio fit, enthusiastic, generous and alive.”    Planning a balanced diet that includes plenty of raw, fresh colourful fruits, vegetables & salads, lovingly prepared and savoured will boost massive reserves of energy throughout the day, so that you are able to enjoy your time well into the evening.  Apart from including more plant based enzyme rich foods, letting go of any ‘stress habit’ means starting your day off a little earlier with an exercise, meditation or mind focusing routine.   Just as you can train a dog with rewards – you can train your mind in much the same way by associating ‘massive pleasure’ to any new behaviour you want to create.   Tell your mind what you want, not what you don’t want:  “Vibrant health & energy is available to me today.”   WRITE IT DOWN – soak it in.    You can literally rewire your brain to give you what you want in as little as 21 days.   I reward myself with an energy packed breakfast that is simply delicious.    “My favourite treat breakfast includes cherries and sweet berries with a mouthwatering selection of my favourite passion fruits.     I include eating mindfully, savouring each juicy, blissful, naturally sweet mouthful.  With this one action, I am honouring my body, energy and life with immense gratitude.”
  2. Time is your most valuable resource.  Success requires a decision and commitment to taking action. Deciding what is most important for the day and getting it done first, becomes its own reward.   Breaking down bigger goals into smaller managable tasks can break through procrastination.  There are different ways of choosing what to do first.  One method is getting done what you dislike the most – FIRST.   This method releases valuable energy by getting it out of the way.  Success will often include less enjoyable aspects that need to be taken care of, such as a training, studying, presenting, accounting, auditioning, even exercising for some people is a drain…and if you re-train yourself to love your least favourite bits – even better.  You can then move through your day feeling fully focused without any nagging feeling that you should be doing something else.
  3. Whatever you give your attention to grows.  So AWARENESS & INTENTION really is KEY if you want to design your life.  If you genuinely desire vibrant health, happiness, energy and success.  One mindfulness technique I like to share, includes Breath in PEACE, breath out with a SMILE.  In peace…out smile.

10 Tips to Power your Self-Belief & Self Esteem

Do you suffer with low self-worth or low self-esteem?

  1.  Criticism withers you.  Praise builds you up.  If you are hard on yourself or perfectionist you may frequently feel you are ‘not enough’.  Spend the next 21 days repeating over in your mind  “I am enough”   Write it on your mirror, everywhere to allow it to really sink in.  And don’t worry if you don’t believe it, with sufficient determination and repetition, your unconscious mind will eventually believe!
  2. Decide what you want and why?  Get really clear, as your ‘whys’ are your motivators that inspire you into action.
  3. Every morning choose one thing to appreciate about yourself, so that at the end of the year you have a long list of positives that feed your self esteem.
  4.  Reward yourself every day with something enjoyable to look forward to, such as a delicious breakfast after an early morning workout.
  5.  Forgive past mistakes and take forward only the positive learnings.
  6. Take the focus off yourself.   Look outside your current difficulties and explore how you can make a positive contribution to someone else, your wider community or world.   You can grow your self worth super fast with this powerful action.
  7. Become aware of your self talk.  Make the pictures and words you use in your mind encouraging.
  8. Flush out those pesky limiting beliefs and replace with perky pleasurable ones instead.
  9. If you feel you are unappreciated, give out appreciation even more.  Appreciating the best in others can encourage others to appreciate the best in you.
  10. Take constructive criticism practically but not personally.  Reject destructive criticism and use ‘constructive’ criticism to improve.

Break the cycle of mood-swings, stress & hormonal-imbalances

Hormonal Imbalances:    Do you snap or shout at your loved ones?   Do you wage war or erupt like a volcano more often than you’d prefer?

Mood swings:  If your moods ignite with gusto, it could be that pushed down emotions such as anger, guilt or shame are the ‘hidden’ cause.  Fatigue, time pressures are also stressors that increase the likelihood of these outbusts.

Break the cycle of food cravings, too much sugar and stress

Food cravings  Cortisol is released in response to stress triggers.    A craving for sugar creates a cycle that eventually fatigues the adrenals with more mood swings.

Too much sugar causes blood sugar level fluctuations that crash energy casing further food cravings.

Too much stress creates cortisol, with any excess of this hormone being converted to sugar.   At this point, weight gain, skin and digestive sensitivities may arise.  Further stress causes food cravings and fatigue … so the cycle of hormonal imbalance continues….

Are your Beliefs Sabotaging your Happiness?

If positive, happy feelings create better health, how can positive beliefs also support you? During many client breakthroughs, I have noticed three core beliefs that block happiness. If you rate less than 8 out of 10, you will be harming your own happiness potential…and health.

  1. Deserving: Often concerns about guilt, not good enough, past traumas.  Rate yourself out of 10 – How deserving of ‘happiness’ do you feel? 10 – Yes or 0 – No, I don’t feel worthy & deserving of happiness.
  2. Possibility:  Often concerns about family history, past failures, genetics, nothing works.  It is possible for you to be happy? ~ How true does this feel? 10 – Yes it’s very possible for you to feel happy or 0 – No, it’s impossible.
  3. Safety:  Often concerns men, past experiences, jealousy, expectations.  It is safe for you to be happy? 10 – Yes it is very safe for you to feel happy, or 0 – No, it isn’t safe for you to be happy.

If you rated 5 or lower in any of the above, your beliefs are limiting your happiness.
